Equipment
VPT has more than 150 machine tools available to meet your needs. We are a full service cutting, turning and grinding facility. We have manufacturing, sales and shipping all under one roof.
48 Hour Delivery Option
Do you need a hardened M2 or M42 steel blank quickly for a prototype or a machine down? Vermont Precision Tools may be able to help. We offer a range of select hardened and ground blanks to meet your specific needs. Drill and Reamer Blanks all cut to length and ground to size. Inspection
VPT is dedicated to delivering high quality product to our customers. We have the technology and the talent to ensure the customer gets the Quality they Deserve. Inspection Equipment includes Vision Systems, Laser Micrometers, Digital Calipers, Digital Micrometers, Comparators, Digital Surface Finish gages, Digital Height Gages, Rockwell Testers, Science Scopes and an in-house ISO 17025 accredited calibration lab.
Materials
Vermont Precision Tools has the ability to heat treat and grind AISI M2, M42 steels. We carry and grind a full range of 400 series stainless steels and carbide materials that meet the needs of the Medical or Cutting Tool industries.
Heat Treat
Our in-house Heat Treat capabilities enable us to harden and temper tool steel, high speed and stainless steels. This shortens lead times and improves heat treat quality. We use NIST traceable test blocks for the setup and inspection of our Rockwell and Vickers hardness testing. As a Medical blank manufacturer, quality, certification and traceability are required. Hardness certification is available upon request at the time the order is placed.

With over 150 machine tools at our disposal, Vermont Precision Tools has the ability to adapt to many of our customers most challenging needs.
